OH how Trevor has waited for this day!! He's been asking when he can play baseball since he was 2. This year he was finally old enough! He is lucky to be on the same team as his cousin Bryson and a few other friends from church. So this morning was the Little League kick-off parade. He had to be there at 7:45 which was way too early for a Saturday, but he could have cared less. He was sooo excited and was in such a good mood.
Here's Trevor, all ready for his FIRST T-Ball game!
So in T-Ball, each team gets to bat 3 times and then the game's over. No outs, no keeping score, just letting the kids learn the game and have fun! They also rotate positions since the outfielders don't get much action. First, Trevor was the "pitcher" but not really because they hit off the T of course. So really, he just stood on the mound, but he actually got a lot of action since that's about where most of the players hit the ball. :-)
Trevor up to bat!
Trevor has had an extra little bounce in his step all day and has been extra nice and sweet. It's so fun to see him do something he loves so much!
