This year they each got a pad of paper and some Mr. Sketch Scented Markers.  I LOVED those when I was a kid!

Christmas 2010!!!

For our 10th wedding anniversary (back in December), Mark surprised me with a printed book of our blog.  I loved it soo much, and realized what a great journal it was.  So I vowed to blog even more.  Well, I haven't blogged since October, and it's May.  So I'm going to be playing catch up for a while.  Christmas was as always, a blast!  It gets better and better every year as Kylie gets older and all of our kids really get into Christmas-the joy of getting and giving presents as well as understanding what Christmas is really all about...the birth of our Savior.

Here is a picture of the kids on Christmas Eve excited about opening the traditional Christmas Eve present.  This year they all got Pillow Pets.  Alyssa got a pig, Trevor got a dog, and Kylie got a ladybug (pictured in the next pic).

Christmas morning...waiting to come down the stairs with their pillow pets!

Santa brought Kylie a Minnie Mouse, Trevor got Woody from Toy Story...

and Alyssa got a Squinkie house.
Presents from Mom and Dad (not all pictured) :-)

After a fun morning of opening presents at our house, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Campbell's for breakfast and more presents!  Alyssa got Lanie, the American Girl doll...

Trevor got some new golf clubs...

and Kylie got a Bitty Baby "Brittney" doll.  (Alyssa has the exact same one and she named hers Brittney, and Kylie LOVED her so Grandma and Grandpa got Kylie her own!)  She also got a Jessie doll (from Toy Story) and a cute Little People set.

Then we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Telford's where Trevor got "Lotso" from Toy Story, and a Mario Galaxy 2 Wii game.

Alyssa loved her American Girl Scrapbook, camera case for her new camera, and a Club Penguin Wii game.

I'm pretty sure Kylie could not have enough jammies.  She is always in them, the second we walk in the door, she's out of her clothes and into jammies.  So, she was thrilled about these new jammies that matched her new bitty baby!  She also loved the Rapunzel doll, LeapFrog movie, and cute new outfit for "Brittney."

Christmas 2009

Christmas was soo fun this year!

On Christmas Eve our tradition is that each of the kids gets to open one present.  This year they all got new blankets.  Trevor got a blue Buzz Lightyear one, Alyssa got a purple Tinkerbell one, and Kylie got a pink Cinderella one.

Christmas morning was as fun as always!  They ran downstairs and found their presents from Santa and their stockings.  Santa got Alyssa a white board this year.  She LOVES it.  She plays school on it and loves to draw pictures on it.

Santa got Trevor a new scooter, and a whistle!  He reeeeeally wanted a whistle so he could play "coach" out in the backyard. :-)

From us, Trevor got some new nerf guns, a sleeping bag, a bug vacuum, and a few other things.

We got Alyssa a new American Girl doll - Rebecca, and a few other things.

Kylie was so fun this year.  Last year she was just really overwhelmed, but this year she was really in to it!  She loved opening up all her presents.  Santa got her some dress up shoes and a new baby.  From us she got a doctor kit, some puzzles, a new little highchair...and a few other things.

Alyssa opened up this family gift...MarioKart for Wii.  It's so fun!

Alyssa and Rebecca

Soo there are a lot of Alyssa and not so many of Trevor and Kylie and that is because most of their pictures turned out sooo blury.  They move too much and too fast!  (we bought a new camera though, yay).

So later, after we opened presents at our house we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Campbell's house for a yummy breakfast, and more presents!  Alyssa got 4 new games:  Connect Four, Twister, Sorry, and Operation.  Trevor got a fun new Cars geotracks set, and Kylie got a cute little crib for her babies, and a little vacuum.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

After that, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Telford's.  Thanks to my little sister Lisa, we have some pictures.  Alyssa got a Leapster & some games for it.  I love these Leapsters for the car...Trevor has one too, and they keep them busy!  :-)

Trevor got a Tag Reading System (from LeapFrog), and some books for it...this thing is AMAZING.  He really likes it and it is also really great for the car!

Kylie got this Little People amusement park, which she absolutely LOVES.  She plays with it almost everyday.  She has about 8 little people and she has them wait their turn to ride the rollercoaster, get on the ferris wheel, ride the rockets and the teacups...it's sooo cute and funny.  She also got a Tag Jr. which gives her something to do in the car too!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

After that, we went home for a few hours and played with some of the new toys the kids got.  Then we headed over to Grammy and Grandpa Garcia's house for a yummy Christmas dinner and the kids each got a cute new outfit...my Grammy always picks out the cutest clothes for them!  As always, it was a busy day, but we love it.  We love all the family we get to see and hang out with on Christmas.

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas

It was another fun Christmas this year. My parents and my sister Kelsi came over for Christmas Eve and spent the night, which was soo fun! We ate pizza, the kids opened 1 present, we read Luke 2, and watched the cartoon version of Christ's birth. Then...bedtime for the kids so Santa could come! Kylie and Trevor fell asleep right away, but Alyssa was SO SO SO excited this year. It took her quite a while to fall asleep. Morning came and the kids were soo happy. It was SO fun to see our kids SO happy. Well, Alyssa and Trevor. Kylie was not quite sure what was going on and never really got in to opening presents. She insisted on sitting on my lap for all the present opening.
Whenever we asked Trevor what he wanted for Christmas, he said a new gun. He's really in to these nerf guns and each time he gets one, it gets bigger and better. He's had so much fun shooting us...and these ones hurt!

Alyssa FINALLY got her American girl doll. She's been OBSESSED with the picture of this doll for the last 5 months and has waited patiently (well sort of) for Christmas to come. It was worth the wait. I've never seen a kid love something so much. I've never seen her so happy. Seriously, she would randomly burst into laughter throughout the day and hug her doll so tight. She just absolutely loves her.

Trevor also got this GIANT puzzle...

Merry Christmas!!!
