We've been loving the nice Spring weather. The kids ask to ride their bikes every day so as long as it's nice, we do! Sometimes we bring them to a park and sometimes we just ride them out front...luckily we live on a pretty quiet street so they can ride in the street. Kylie LOVES to be outside. She is constantly requesting to go outside by saying, "ouw-siyde." She got this lawn mower bubble blower for Christmas and she used up all the bubbles pretty quickly. We finally got some new bubbles the other day and she's already gone through 2 bottles! She played with this thing all day today. If you have a toddler, I definitely recommend this toy...it has provided so much entertainment for Kylie and I'm sure many many more hours.

Kid Update
Alyssa is doing great in Kindergarten. There have been no complaints about her teacher, in fact one day last week she said, "My teacher was so silly today!" She's not always super enthusiastic about going like she was last year about pre-K, but hey, it's going much better than I thought. She complains that it's not as much fun as pre-K, that they do a lot of work, and she never gets to bring anything home. I think that will change soon though when she starts getting homework every night, as her teacher warned us parents. She has a new little friend she tells us about...her name is Elizabeth and she has red hair. I'm having a little bit harder time adjusting to her being in Kindergarten than I thought. It's just so...real. I don't sign her in and out anymore, there's no snack, it's required that she goes, and she had a fire drill today and everything! I feel like she's a 6th grader or something. I don't know...it's weird.
Kylie is walking ALL over the place now. She hardly ever crawls anymore, it's so stinkin' cute to see her tiny little body walking everywhere. She is so silly, she had a fascination with licking the oven a few days ago...
Trevor is doing really well in his preschool too. I don't have a picture of him because this stupid blogger was being retarded and I couldn't get it on. But anyways, he likes it but everyday he complains because "he doesn't get to bring anything home." I don't know what they do in there, I guess they don't do projects or something...

Getting pictures taken with 3 kids=Exhuastion
Last Friday I got my kids' pictures taken at Picture People. I have never attempted to get a professional picture of all 3 kids. I've been meaning to for a whole year but somehow it's always been on the back burner and therefore it never got done!
Let me just say that I do not enjoy taking my kids to get their pictures taken. It is absolutely exhausting. That is why it's been 1 1/2 years since A & T had gotten theirs taken. But I had to suck it up and do this.
So I got to Picture People and memories of why I hate this so much came flooding back. Alyssa would not do anything the photographer told her to do...Trevor did great at the individual shots but would not hold in position for more than 2 seconds during the group shot. Kylie was a typical 1 year old and crawled away the second I walked away. It was EXHAUSTING. I think all mothers know what I'm talking about.
I am very impatient when my kids are being photographed. It's like, Please, just for ONCE in your life, stay still for 5 seconds in the position she puts you in, PLEASE!!! I'll do anything! Just Pleeeease!! And I turn in to this completely desperate person. I think of saying things like, "I'll go buy you anything you want at Toys R Us after this if you just hold still and let her get this picture." But then I realize how desperate that sounds and don't want the photographer to think I spoil my kids and give them anything they want so I don't say it. (I seriously was so desperate, I almost said that)
Anyways, so then comes time to see the results. And this is where Picture People is soooooo smart. They bring out already printed pictures all in frames and everything. And they catch you when you're already soo emotional from the previous 30 minutes, and you've got to walk away with something good for all that work you just put forth. And you have the mind frame of, "I don't care how much it costs, it's worth it for what I just went through." And they actually got a pretty cute group shot...

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter everyone! This morning, beautiful little Kylie, all ready for church in her new Easter dress that Grandma Michelle made for her, was caught picking her nose. She would not stop! She had that finger up there so far, it actually bled.

The Children's Museum
Today for the last day of Christmas break (yay!) we went to the Children's Museum. The kids love this place...
This is the firetruck section where they get to put little coats and hats on and go inside what looks like a real firetruck!
This is the Vet room, where they get to take care of little stuffed animals. They love to give the animals shots. :-)

This is the painting section...They decided to paint their hands today and do handprints on their papers. It was a real mess!

This is the grocery store, they get to go around and gather food for their baskets (the shelves are pretty bare right now, it was pretty busy and the kids did some major shopping), and then they get to go check out.

This is Trevor's favorite thing to do at the Children's Museum...shoot hoops.
In this section they get to crawl through all these underground tunnels and climb trees. They can put little "bug" costumes on too, Alyssa was a bunny today.
