First Day of School!

We had a great summer but it had to end, and a new school year began.  Alyssa started 3rd grade, Trevor started 1st, and Kylie started preschool!  My children are growing up, it's crazy!  I can't believe they're all in school?!

The kids had a blast swimming over the summer!  We mostly swam at Grandma and Grandpa Campbell's since they have solar so their pool is nice and warm. :)  But we also swam at California Family Fitness (we had a one month membership over the summer) and Grandma and Grandpa Telford's.

Trevor is 7!!!  Happy Birthday buddy!  I had so much fun going back and watching him grow up through old pictures.  He is such a fun little guy and still full of life and energy!

Memory

This is what Kylie and I play, everyday.  Kylie and Alyssa, Kylie and Trevor...whoever will play with her. :-)  Memory is definitely her favorite game right now!

Kylie is 4!!  We started off the morning opening presents! 

She had her first "friend" birthday party this year.  She invited 8 little friends to our house for a "Dora" party and everyone had a blast!  They made necklaces, colored, played games, and ate cake and ice-cream!

...and opened presents too!

Kylie is such a sweet little girl and we feel so lucky to have her in our family! :-)  Here are some things about Kylie:

*She started off the year having some trouble going to Primary, but is now doing great and loves it!  She usually goes right in with out a tear, and we are so proud of her!

*She is coming out of her shell a little more and is making more friends.
*She will start pre-school this August and she is getting very excited.  She has asked me a few times, "When am I going to start preschool?"  We are doing Joy School this year with 5 other little girls in our ward.
*She continues to have a great imagination.
*She is hilarious!  She makes us laugh all the time.
*She loves to play with Little People and her dollhouse, Trevor and especially Alyssa, and she loves loves loves puzzles!
*She LOVES milk!
*She is a terrible eater.
*She still loves doing laundry!

Last Day of School!

Trevor's Kindergarten graduation was so cute!  They sang some songs and then everyone was called up to receive their "diploma" from Mrs. Huntbrown, the Principal, and then Mrs. Stecca, Trevor's teacher, told everyone what they want to be when they grow up.  Trevor said he wants to be an Insurance Representative!  That got a laugh!

Here are some pictures from Trevor's trophy party.  His friends on the team were Travis Allen, Cade Petersen, and cousin Bryson, and his coach was Brent Petersen.

Alyssa's Baptism

On Saturday, February 5, 2011 Alyssa was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  It was a wonderful day!  She was excited and a little nervous about being "dunked" but she did great.  The first time Mark baptized her, her little toe popped up so he had to do it again.  When Alyssa came out of the water and we were walking to go get changed she said, "Well, that's something to tell my kids!  I got baptized twice!"  It made me laugh. :-)  Grandpa Campbell gave a great talk on Baptism, and Grandma Telford gave a great talk on The Holy Ghost.  After the baptism, everyone headed to our house for a yummy lunch. We are so proud of Alyssa and the wonderful decision that she has made.
