I can still fold the laundry

I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this one...it's borderline just plain MEAN! :-) But it was still funny to me.

This morning I was folding laundry and Alyssa and Trevor were playing with Kylie's new "buggy" toy, pushing eachother around in it. They came in to the family room where I was, and Trevor said, "Lets pretend Mom died." I looked at him, he looked at me, and if my face matched my feelings I kind of had this look of shock and sadness on my face and Alyssa goes, "Well, Mom, you can still fold the laundry."

As if that's what I was sad about...."well if I'm dead how am I going to fold this laundry?"

I'm glad that you posted this, although it is sad, it's still pretty funny. My kids pretend I've died all the time, then they ring the doorbell looking for a new home!

So sad. I guess I should be prepared for that stuff. Charlie just recently decided I am a "Mom" and not a "Mommy" anymore.
