Seriously, who puts carpet under a kitchen table??? I guess not everyone has 3 kids, the oldest one 6, but still! I can imagine what the carpet would have looked like after a year or two. Gross.
And I'm sure there will be many more spills...I have to say that I'm pretty easygoing these days with spills because everytime I'm just so thankful I'm not scrubbing carpet.

i agree! i never want carpet under the table, even with no kids! accidents happen and scrubbing carpet, YUCK!
Tell me about it, I'm already nervous because our apartment has carpet under the table and by the time we leave, Eli will be 2 1/2 and probably making a huge mess. We're going to have to get one of those ugly mats to put under his chair, so lame! Seriously though, who is the genius that thinks putting carpet under a kitchen table is a good idea??
amen! we had a house ONCE with carpet in the kitchen and dinning room. never again! tile or hard wood is the only way to go.
