New haircuts for the girls

This was the first haircut that Alyssa actually wanted to get. Usually she throws a fit about a tiny trim, but she actually requested to get her hair cut short like "Chrissa's" (an American Girl). I'm super thrilled about this haircut because it's easier to brush and quicker to wash and dry! She loves her new haircut so much. She got it cut yesterday afternoon and ever since she checks herself out in the mirror constantly and does all these hair tosses and poses while she's looking at herself...ha ha it's hilarious!
Here's Kylie's new hair cut. I'm not in love with it, I want her hair to grow longer so I can do cute things with it, but the back was again growing way longer than the sides so I decided to even it up a little.

I love both of them. I really like Kylie's. I think it's a cute little bob, love it. But I do favor shorter haircuts, so maybe I am biased.

Wow, big move for Alyssa! Laura, your life keeps getting easier--first no shoe laces, now shorter hair for the girls :)

oh I love Kylie's, makes her look so grown up. As you were describing Alyssa tossing her hair I was picturing it and laughing, that girl kills me!

I think they are both adorable, too. How did Kylie do for the haircut? I can picture her being a little on the nervous side, but she must have done O.K. or you would have mentioned it? Grandma Karen

Haha Lisa your comment made me laugh...my life is getting easier with these simple little things! :-)

And Kylie did great because she was on my lap with a sucker. :-)

alyssa's hair looks so good!! and in the end when kylie's hair is thick and gorgeous you'll be glad you trimmed it all up ;) i'm always sad when i chop lily's but then after it grows in thicker it looks so much better.

YIKES! I can imagine that you must have been covered with hair stuck to sticky sucker drool afterwards.
