Alyssa is 8! Alyssa started off the day opening presents of course! She got the new 2011 girl of the year American Girl doll, Kalani, from us, and some squinkies from Kylie and Trevor.
Later in the day (it was on a Saturday this year) I got to spend some special time with Alyssa and we went and got pedicures! It was so fun! Alyssa picked out her own color of nail polish and even got a cute little flower design on her big toes.

Later that evening we had a family birthday party, and this was Alyssa's adorable ice-cream cake that she picked out.
Alyssa got money from all of her grandparents this year, and she had a blast buying stuff with all that cash! She ordered a bunch of American Girl stuff, what else?! :-)
Uncle Jason, Aunt Heather, cousins Kami, Wyatt and Blake got Alyssa a giftcard to her favorite clothing store, Justice!
Uncle Travis, Aunt Tarah, cousins Bryson, Lucas and Austin got her this cute Messenger Bag that she had a blast decorating herself, and her favorite candy!
She had a great day and loves being 8!
